Wow it's taken a lot of you a long time to realise how good it is, been using it since s1. Strong at range (even without choke) and good close range.
An all rounder 🙂
- 5 years ago@DarthValtrex Yeah exactly haha , if I need to land a 100+ shot with the mastiff then I can almost guarantee il hit a 12 or 24 lol

@RagarathHey hey, in my defense I’ve been busy and have not had much time to get on the forum.
@hayhor same I used it a lot in Previous seasons. But the buffs this season have just made it perfect.

I tested the new Triple Take and, yeah, it was so GOOD!
FREE choke is a really nice buff in my opinion.
We still need to switch on/off choke carefully and it is fun. 🙂
I think Long Bow is the best bet in the sniper gun.
But Triple Take is also a good candidate now.

Probably one of the best changes this patch, was making the TT able to choke select without removing the hop up to your backpack.
TT is in a super good spot right now. Very versatile.

Triple Take is back, no doubt. I haven't wanted to use it much since Season 2. It's a great all around option, and the choke as standard loadout is a nice boost. Overall sniper rifles in general are more effective at knocking with the lower TTK, so it also is helped by that.

Because Longbow is better.
Two taps and they're gone.

- 5 years ago@1ronKeys I've always been a Longbow fan but in Season 6 I have been using the Sentinel a lot more. Loads of knocks from headshots and its such a satisfying gun to use.

@GH0STEDbyMEturn it off in more of CQC/shotgun use or mid range situation. I have never taken it off unless I was looking to jump someone with it in CQC. I would not wan the choke sound to be made as it would give away my location. Plus it's not required in close combat. Just camp a corner pointed at a door as soon as the enemy opens the door 2 tap them.. If you have a choke they can hear you.
@xx_Dante2k_xx I pick up the Sentinel if I have a purple backpack and can carry extra cells to charge it. I have put myself into some sticky situations with cells because of that gun. It is a fun gun to use though, charge it up and zap the armor away from people. You see full on panic from some players.. - 5 years ago
For example, the very beginning of the game.
Enemies don't have thick armor and even the wide-spreaded shot is deadly. 🙂

@DarthValtrex I wish you could charge it up WHILE you hip-fire so it always shoots really tightly around that little dot in the center of the hip-fire reticle. I've always really liked the versatility of the TT, wish it was a little more competitive in close quarters.
