Why is the game so bad now

The term '"ratting" is relative and isn't a bad thing.  It comes off more useless in pubs then rank.  BUT, how do you represent tactically moving around, avoiding combat when it's not important to get to team placement for points?  If Apex only rewarding killing then the matches would become even more sweaty and unfun.  You'd suspect more cheating going on then there is now.  Because the focus is solely on killing.  Players are going to adapt to how things work for them, in the least hassle way.  Either that means ratting until the last 10 teams or they turn into pychoapathic players who are skilled or cheaters.
