Why people play Apex
It's not to.. Stand and craft for several minutes. (The issue is loot readily available) Collect a loot arm from a robot and find another robot to get more loot. High 5? (Vault is ok but this is gi...
Sorry but I am a crafter. If my squad lands solo in an area with a replicator and materials and I get a blue shield it makes sense to bump it up to purple before running off to fight. If it's Turbocharger day I'm at a replicator as soon as I can afford one.
I play to survive and to win. If that means creeping around for ten minutes not engaging, then so be it.
@EdwardDLuffy Not everyone is as patient 😛 and it still takes awhile when some have limited play sessions for w/e reason.
@DarthValtrex Audio will increase immersion but when you have to many layers cancelling out priority audio cues it'll have the opposite effect and just lead to frustration. They know their limits and i'm all for pushing the boundaries but some things added are just unnecessary like kill leader for example or armour upgrades for visual clutter.
Edit: It's there so i'll use them. I used to mainly play ranked but not so much anymore (or the game for past couple seasons) as we'll land in Dome (great for placement points with randoms) and get equipped then craft bats/armour ect with every team that surrounded us already moved on to sorting factory which leaves 10 teams remaining by the time we arrive with only couple mins fighting win or lose before next match. They really need to remove the kill cap and change placement points or completely alter the point structure so we can play the game instead of hide and seek. Enough has been suggested for this but they're happy with it apparently.
@hayhor I'm not saying remove it but they could speed up the process or add something creative you could do to make it faster as looking for a fight after you're equipped can also take considerable time. Crafting and travelling takes more time per match, on average, than actually fighting now and i always look for the next team. You can still play patiently when it's congested and have reasonable meds/weapons/armour ect providing the loot pool is sufficient but when patience is the only choice from poor design then imo it's an oversight that needs looking at for a fps that advertises itself as a ''fast paced shooter''.
