They already do. 2 of his abilities do that.
No, you can still see Mirage when he's cloaked, it does not make him truly invisible, it just makes his model a washed-out monochromatic light gray color.
Anyway, Wraith has arguably the strongest kit in the game. Bangalore is the only other character I would compare to Wraith in terms of kit potential. Lifeline is an S-tier but for different reasons, so she doesn't compare to Wraith or Bangalore. You're supposed to use her tactical ability to reposition yourself, it is NOT supposed to also make you impossible to track. It turns you invincible and makes you move faster, if you can't figure out how to use this to your advantage, you're just plain bad.
Use it offensively, because you don't make footstep noises. Makes it super easy to play a very aggressive ambush playstyle.
Combine it with your Ultimate. Once you have a portal placed, you can use your tactical to confuse the hell out of people by portal hopping back and forth while invisible. I like to go through it two times and then wait back at the original portal for the enemy to come back through it thinking I ditched them.
Use it to take high ground. Again, the main point of Wraith's tactical is to REPOSITION safely. Even if an enemy is right on your tail, you get to turn unkillable and move faster. This is going to allow you to get onto a strong high ground position and then turn around and defend it from your pursuer.
Use it to bait people. Very simple, actually use your mic. Tell your team to hide around a corner or in a building or w/e, go out and aggro someone and then run back to your team. People fall for this all the time and it's hilarious.
Use it to get to ziplines and balloons without taking any damage, this is the best way to use it to make a "true" escape from a fight.
Use it anytime there is Bangalore smoke on the field, nobody will see where you went unless they have hacks to see through smoke.
Her tactical is one of the most creative abilities in the game. She would honestly be OPAF if you couldn't track her during her tactical, it would be such a broken ability compared to what every other hero has. Respawn does not want this game becoming like Overwatch where the abilities and ultimates are so powerful that they overshadow true skill. Apex has limited power in these abilities by design so that, ulltimately, your gunplay is always the most important factor, not your hero.
the issue with Wraith is that her entire kit is high risk. Void runnign into opponents aggressively is a massive risk. Teleport hopping back and fourth is also risky and probably not worth it compared to just staying with your team and focus firing.
Bangalore's kit seems to do a lot of what Wraith's kit does but is much safer. For example with Bangalore you can run in, take some damage to activate sprint. Get some shots in then drop smoke to disengage. With wraith I guess you would use a portal to disengage but then the enemies can use the portal also to rush your team.
In the end Wraith feels gimmicky compared to Bangalore. Most of the time Wraith's kit is just used to fast travel team-mates. And to metigate a bit of damage with her tactical ability.
