Yeahh pubs don't need any penalty

@Cro_Pittt This is one of the main reasons why I play Ranked. As crappy as the changes are. Players leave maybe 25% of the time vs 95% lol.

@Cro_Pittt I have lots of fun in pubs myself but I got a story like yours: I get matched with a duo who drop us frag. One of the duo goes down and quits as me and his friend finish the team. The one who's still in game goes "He does this all the time. He forgets we are together!" 🤣

@DankToliet Since the event started my pubs teammates are much worse. I saw someone leaked that the ltm doesn't really use strict sbmm but I'm even seeing this in normal pubs.

I get what you're saying, and yet... nobody treats this game as anything other than one-life team deathmatch. Frankly I'm grateful (most of the time) when my scrubs bail. Trying to save them just to have the same tragicomic scenario play out three more times in the same match... that's not a game, it's a job. And I already have one of those.

I typically leave after getting downed when a combination of the following happen:

1) My teammates aren’t using their mics
2) My teammates intentionally ignore my feedback (like “hey we have 30 seconds until the circle closes, lets leave this fight”)
3) My teammates take loot I clearly need, and I killed the guy they’re looting.

Basically, there are a lot of people who choose to be crappy teammates. I don’t have sympathy for these people when they get “quit on”.

Unfortunately, a lot of these people themselves are quitting games, and good teammates end up being the recipient.

But I fear that a pub penalty would serve to punish the former more than the latter. The average player shouldn’t have to put up with selfish teammates. I feel like everyone should have the option to say “nope this vibe isn’t for me”.

@Daze623 Teammate gets knocked and says bro your trash. I proceed to wipe the entire squad, wile he insults me a ditches. The duo: trash talkers, and good players.
