Apex Banned while out of town?

Definitely sucks a lot! But no I have never done anything to cheat or anything like that. I believe I logged in and maybe played one match but I just played as normal. No one has access to my consoles at home as I live alone. EA really needs to figure this out. It makes their players who are wrongly accused, feel like they don’t matter. 

I got a ban and I don’t even play the game. I am trying to dispute missing items from Battlefield 2042 when they said I can’t because I was banned on Apex. I legit played the game ONCE when it launched and never since lol

I also got banned and I too didn’t even get to play the game xD. I only booted it up to see if my old pc can run it and it ran like crap.
I never got to experience any gameplay other than browse through the games option menu's to make the game even playable for my previous pc specs..

You do not by chance happen to have been using an AMD Radeon RX7x00-series card with Anti-Lag+ enabled?

This triggered (false) bans on a number of accounts.

Edit: It seems like the ROG Ally in fact is AMD based and had support for Anti-Lag+ (as written in an earlier post here as well).

Edit2: I have been trying to help my son with this AMD Anti-Lag+ issue. He bought a new AMD RX7000 series card that got him banned. He is 100% sure that he has not been using any cheats or similar.
Appeals to support/ToS team has just been denied without specifying any reason and with a pretty brute standard answer. There is no reason given in the ban as well, so we are kind of starting to lose hope.

According to a post in another thread, EA can detect the bans that have been made due to Anti-Lag+, and has been "lifted all of them", but we are not so sure, unfortunately.

I didn’t even know that was a thing. I just logged in and then after it wouldn’t connect to the server. I had no clue that even existed. EA really needs to help their players out instead of just denying them of their claims. I still haven’t been given a reason why I was banned

Really interested in hearing if you get this resolved, so please post back when and if you manage, because we are in the same situation.

After appealing three times it seems that it is impossible to get through to the ban management team ("TOS"). Chatting with support gets you nowhere since they see the "three investigations", and closes the case. Chat are all very nice and tries to be helpful but it seems cases like this are out of their power.

the OP @PHVSED mentioned that they play on Xbox and PS5.

This would then already answer your question about the graphic card since neither the PS5 or Xbox use the AMD Radeon RX7x00-series card.

With that in mind their problem is likely not the same as your possible problem.
