I have not been able to connect my PC and Xbox through crossplay. I have tried sending friend requests but it does not work. Can anyone help?

Are you trying to invite two accounts that are connected to the same EA Account? If so, I'm afraid that wouldn't work. You aren't able to invite accounts that are linked to the same EA Account for cross-play.

@EA_Kent I'm having this exact issue on PC trying to connect to my son's xbox account. He can search for my name and see/find me and send the request, but his request doesn't reach me on PC. I can not search his username, as it doesn't show any results. Our accounts are individual and not connected or shared.
Same here. Since I’m low level I made a new email account, new AE account, and new Xbox sign in. Works now luckily it’s all free
I am using Xbox with a totally different email than my bf who uses PC. We try adding each other but neither of us get the friend request.
However, I was able to friend his nephews account on PS4. So we are able to cross play together when his nephew is on, though when its just us, we can't add each other, so therefore unfortunately we can't cross play without his nephew on. I feel like its a bug in the system, and the only work around is if we join through a PS4 account. So Xbox and PC can't add each while PS4 and PC can, then PS4 can add PC/Xbox users. PS4 seems to have the luck in early beta. Hope there is a work around, or fix soon!! Crossplay definitely has been slightly buggy yet seems to have slightly improved since starting. I will patiently wait, tho eager to play duos with my man!!

Community ManagerHave you double-checked to make sure the account name is correct? I've seen some cases where the name has a space or underscore that's being missed, which could be why nothing is coming up when you search it.

@EA_KentI created a whole new ea and origin account after reading all the issues regarding Apex cross play. I can find my ps account and friend it but I can't find my son's ps id. He can find my pc id from ps however, the friend requests will not go through. What's the fix?
Community Manager@EA_KentYes. It is however, unrestricted. He has no problems adding friends on the ps network. I would figure that there would be no issue with the crossplatform.

Just to confirm, your son's PSN account is not connected to the same EA Account as the PC account you're playing on?

@EA_KentThe PC account is brand new. It is not connected to my son's ps account. They are completely separate and under two different email addresses. To add to this, I type his name into the friend finder and it will not locate him. He can find me from his ps account, he sends the friend request and does not appear on my pc account.
