The game crashes without any error messages

Hello,

After the latest update, the game launches, but in the initial window where you need to select a server and press "Continue," the game closes immediately after clicking "Continue."

I have verified the integrity of the game cache and reinstalled the game. After that, I created a new account, and the problem did not occur on the new account. What could be the reason for this?

While I was playing fine 2 days ago suddenly the same thing that is happening to you it happened to me yesterday and did not play all day long. After reinstalling and deleting and repairing countless times I finally fixed it by deleting the Respawn folder on Saved Games. (c:/ Saved Gamed/ Respawn) . I don't know where you have this specific folder on your pc but just by searching on windows search "Saved Games" you will be able to find it. Might want to give it a try. Also try to delete any launch option you might have on Steam or EA for apex. Hope it helped <3

Literally the same issue, its so weird. After I updated my nvidia drivers it started. so I rolled them back and it kept happening. So annoying.

I'm haveing the same proble now... played until 2 days ago.. than i did the nvidia driver update and now the game crashes without any error at the "continue" window...
i've also followed RaizeIFPS's suggestion.. i still get the error.
sometimes i get the "file corruption" error, and the game suggest to do a repair.,. but the integrity is good all the time.. i've also tried to reinstall the game on a different sdd but nothing changed.

Little update:
Once.. and sadly only once.. i got pass the continue button.. but the video for the event started... and it was totally corrupted.. and the game crashed during the video. But even if run the steam "check files" fuction... it doesn't find anything wrong.

also another new error:

commandline: "H:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Apex Legends\r5apex.exe" -steam -novid -game R2
title: Fatal Error - Engine Error
error: Failed to decode oodle pak file.

but even those solutiond didn't work.

My Last update:

After doing:
Deleting ALL PAK files and did a repair of the game
GPU Driver Rollback
Updated the BIOS of my MB (Asus Hero z790)
And it finally started.

Same here - oodle error intermittent, possible corruption intermittent as well, game refuses to run in DX12 at all (i have to use DX11 to have a shot at it working) but this warning in event viewer occurs nearly everytime the game refuses to run and/or crashes, along with code integrity (i have all of this turned off on my PC - I have made so many system changes trying to get this game to work the past 2-3 days, I'm about to uninstall for good) You can see from the number of events that i'm losing my mind trying to find something that works... Hoping an EA rep at least lets us know this is being worked on - started happening to quite a few of us after this last patch to fix the ui(0) issue, which apparently created issues for others. This happens on both steam and EA btw. Check your event viewers guys, i'm hoping to find we all at least have that in common here.

I found a solution for myself.
I deleted the Respawn folder (I found it through a search) and then deleted the startup parameters (for example -novid -nomenuvid)

I experienced the same when using dx12, after switching to dx11 it was fine (no sudden quit to desktop).
