1. Clearing the cache/Power cycling While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds. The console will power down. Unplug the power cord. Wait 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in then turn the console back on by touching the Xbox button Note: If your console is set to the Instant On power state, the above steps will shut the console completely off and will not enable Instant On or the ability to turn on your console by saying ‘Xbox On’ until it reboots. 2. Clearing persistent storage From the Home Screen, using the controller scroll left to the navigation pane. Scroll down to Settings Icon. In the Settings menu scroll down to Disc & Blu-ray. Select Blu-ray. Select Persistent Storage and confirm your selection. 3. Alternate MAC Address From the Home Screen, using the controller scroll left to the navigation pane. Scroll down to Settings Icon. In the Setting menu scroll down to Network and select Network Settings. Select the Advanced Settings. Select Clear. Shut down the console. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the Xbox One and wait two minutes. Once the two minutes have passed, plug the power back in and wait for the power bricks light to go from White to Orange. Once the power brick has the Orange light start the console and try the game again. 4. Clear your local saved games and try reinstalling the game Remove the disc from your console. Scroll left on Xbox Home to open the guide. Select Settings. Select All Settings. Select System. Select Storage. Select Clear local saved games. Note: Selecting this option will not delete any games or progress you have saved in the Xbox Live cloud. It will only clear data you have saved locally. Select Yes to confirm. Once your console restarts, try installing the game again. 5. Take your console offline and install the game Use your console offline: Scroll left on Xbox Home to open the guide. Select Settings. Select All Settings. Select Network. Select Network settings. Select Go offline. Cancel the download: On the Home screen, scroll to the right and open My games & apps. Select Queue. Highlight the game you’re trying to install. Press the Menu button on the controller. Select Cancel. Eject the game disc and power cycle the console: Eject the game disc. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Note: Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console. Select Settings. Select Restart console. Select Yes to confirm. 6. Go online and let the game update install: On the Home screen, scroll to the right and open My games & apps. Select Settings. Select All Settings. Select Network.
