Console 120 fps on Apex Legends

I'm looking at buying the BenQ Mobiuz monitor 165hz to play 120fps with the new Apex update.  In game the help message for turning on performance mode recommends an hdmi 2.1, while the Mobiuz has hdmi 2.0.  Will monitors that do not support hdmi 2.1+ not be able to get 120fps?

@matzesingt Yes. The devs said it adjusts when performance mode it on. What the value is or the adjust is they didn't say.
  • when i turn on performance mode the game become totally unplayable it become so blury and u cant see anything in 20m+ my monitor is 240hz 4k  .. why u make such a big mistake after 2 years+ of waiting for this update is that what we deserve for spending money and be patient for this update ! i spent almost 2.8k usd on this game last 2 years tbh those devs dont deserve much of ps5 members trust .ty for not banning or even shutting down our platform for apex

  • Hello

wasn't supposed now with the uptdade next gen consoles get 120fps, because mine is still capped at 60.

And the version of apex legends is also PS5 version.

    Thank you
