Can not hear friends in cross plat chat lobby.I am trying to play with a friend who is on ps4 i am on xbox. but i can not hear him in the lobby. it shows his mic, that he is speaking, but i can not hear him and he can not hear me.

Hi, people. So I play in PS4 and I have been eager to play with my buddies from XBOX ever since crossplay has been announced. When the crossplay finally became a thing in Apex, I was not able to hear them in the in-game voice chat. We could see that we were trying to talk to each other because we saw the voice chat mic symbol thing going off, but, alas, we still could not hear eachother. When we played trios, we were both matched with someone who also played in PS4. I, a PS4 player, could hear our third person, but my XBOX buddy couldn't.If anyone could guide me to fix this problems, please do so, otherwise help me boost this so we can reach the Devs so they could come up with a solution ASAP. I haven’t been able to talk in voice char for over three months now. I can hear teammates, but every once in a while I encounter players who cannot talk either (I know this because they always end up inviting me to party to talk bc the game voice chat doesn’t work) What can I do? I have power cycled my xbox, restarted it, uninstalled apex twice, and I reset my settings every once in a while in hopes for it to fix and yet, nothing. I already went through a lot of threads and no one seems to find an explanation as to why this is happening to a lot of players.

Hello!So, with crossplay being out, I got to play with two friends who are on their PS4, I am on Xbox One and was facing a problem with voice chat. Usually, chat wasn’t a problem because I stuck around in Xbox‘s party chat, but with crossplay not supporting that, I turned to in-game Chat. When we all joined squad, I was faced with the issue that I couldn’t hear them, nor could they hear me. I tried to play around with the "Disable voice chat" setting, but that didn’t change anything. The two them were able to talk with each other, and I could see their mic-symbols becoming active oftenly, so the game did register they were talking, though I couldn’t hear them. Any idea how to fix this?Cheers

The volume of the voice chat should be adjustable. The volume is too low for some players and too high for others. There is no way to manage the volume and sometimes it is impossible to hear your partner.

So we're over 2 months into the Beta and this is still not working. At the very least can we get some input from the devs as to why this is such a hard feature to make work? I hope they realise the amount of people that are concerned about this...

@torijekay Same here. Me and my PC friend can't hear my Xbox friend at all no matter what we do. Crossplay is basically useless without this feature and it has been 2 months. Can we get a dev response? Anything?

I have noticed ever seen the new cross play feature I can’t talk with a lot of Xbox players but they can hear me sometimes. Does anyone know how to fix this?
