getting initializing screen after lagging out of match

Since the latest update if I lag out of a match I get an infinite initializing screen when trying to get back into a match. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and ran an integrity check through Steam as well as verified anti-cheat and a few other options I have used when I had the infinite loading screen a few years back and nothing has worked. If this happened prior to the update I was always able to either get back into the match or at minimum get back into the game.
