Hello. We have the same issue here in Sydney.
Your connection to the game server is being routed through international servers and back to you and it’s adding a tonne of latency. I believe this is connected to DDoS attacks and security measures to counter these attacks.
Hopefully it’s fixed soon because it has been happening since January 17.
