LTM never starts

Heatwave mode stays in lobby with matchmaking active but game never starts. Tried new server, restarting game and console, different days and time of day. Often staying in lobby loading for 30-45 mins but still no match. Still haven't played even one match of heatwave yet. 

Same thing happened with hardcore... only got 1 match the entire time it was running and I tried loading it almost every time I jumped on (5-7 days a week)

This is very disheartening after getting pumped for new modes only to spend the whole time missing out. Makes the rest of my apex experience feel lacklustre.
