(PC) Apex crashing every game with no errors
Apex Legends crashes to desktop every single game on my brand new pc. It only crashes mid-game, and it is the only game that gives me any issues. There are no freezes, no stutters, no issues at all, then BOOM, crashes straight to desktop with no errors--as in the application just closes.
There are no hardware issues, PC passes every benchmark and memory is good. I am not overheating. I get about 200ish frames and my monitor is only 165 hz. I do not have any stuttering or lag. Game runs great until it ctd's.
I am so lost on resolving this issue. As far as I am aware, I have tried everything. Please help...
Here is what I have tried so far:
- Uninstalling apex and reinstalling (twice)
- disabling all game overlays
- running adrenaline as admin
- running apex as admin
- ddu removing my gpu drivers and safely reinstalling - same with chipset (all drivers are good, I promise)
- disabling fullscreen optimizations, running with compatibility for windows 8 and 7,
- playing in fullscreen & playing in windowed
- unplugging my second monitor and just using 1 display port
- disabling xmp in bios
- updating my bios to F22 and then F23
- Editing power plan to set max CPU power to 95%
- running the cmd to fix corrupted files. Also used ccCleaner
- I do not have a virus or any malware
- I have no crashing events in windows event viewer. System seems to think everything is fine. So annoying.
These are just a few of the things I have tried. I just want to play the game with my friends. I have over 100 days played, made the switch from xbox to PC, and the game is completely unplayable. Very frustrating.
My PC:
- ryzen 5 7600x
- rx 7800xt
- 32gb ddr5 ram
- b650 xax mb
- 850w psu
- 1TB nvme
