This profile is not permitted to play online (Apex Legends PS4)
I restarted my game and it doesn’t seem to work... changed my psn account and it’s still the same... help me, thank you!

Trying to play apex legends but 9n loading screen keeps saying account not able to play online. Have is plus and no restrictions on account. No bans from ea and attempted to try different server no luck any help ?
- No it's my main account but I dont have PS plus activated now or any time before this.Fortnite works fine But when I enter Apex Legends it says "This account is not permitted to play Apex Legends.Visit some website for details".Plese tell me if I have to buy PS plus for my account for playing it. Thanks
- I have ps plus it still doesn’t work so don’t waist your money
- Ok so go to settings and go to the bottom one and then restore settings to default to deactivate the problem than you do your stuff and then it works

Hello there, I have the same issue and have looked at the link you gave to the other poster.
I am 41 and have PS Plus.... my son is 10 and is a SubAccount I guess.... I appreciate that his log in may restrict his access, but for some reason I am not allowed to access the game either and it says my profile is not permitted.
What is going on here? I have changed the parental setting for all users to 'allowed' for all options (above level 11)... so I dont see why there should be a restriction?

Had the same issue and this is what I did to solve it.
First of all a kids account is not working at all even with PSN+ subscription. Also not if you remove all limits. The birthdate is leading and will block the game.
1. So we created a new account with age 18+
2. Made this the mail account for the console
3, Used the same account to log in to EA's network and linked the accounts.
4. Subscribed to PSN+ as test for 14 days (its free the first 14 days)
5. Changed settings on the PS4 to start and log in with this new account.
6. Switched off the PS4 completely and restarted it.
PS4 is starting up with the new account and after start of Apex L. it was working fine.
In between all steps we tried to start the game but always got the same error that it was not permitted to play online.
