Brightness and contrast changes during speed-boosted abilities (Octane/Conduit)

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a frustrating visual issue in Apex Legends. Whenever I use a character with a speed-boost ability (like Octane’s Stim or Bloodhound’s Beast of the Hunt), the screen’s brightness and contrast change significantly.

The image becomes much dimmer and washed out, making it very difficult to track enemies. Constantly having to adjust to these lighting shifts mid-fight is exhausting for the eyes and negatively impacts my gameplay.

Does anyone know how to disable this effect? I want the lighting to remain consistent regardless of whether I'm using a speed boost or not.

I've already tried:

Adjusting in-game brightness.

Turning off "Color Blind Mode."

Is there a specific setting in the settings.cfg or a launch option that can lock the visual clarity? Any help would be appreciated!
