@ONGOlNG_PROBLEM Sounds intriguing, I’ll give that a try, give me a couple of days as I may forget later when I can play. Worth a shot anyways. 3060TI, 1440p at 165hz monitor. I’ve played with my Nvidia settings a lot, which you can’t do as AMD. That may be a difference. I have DLSS at performance. In game settings all basically off. Did you turn HDR off in the game at 1080? Mine is on currently. I didn’t see you mention that specifically?

@ATFGunr HDR is on auto and grayed out. So I can't change that setting despite the resolution.

Mine was live after I plugged my monitor in and turned HDR on in Win 10. I also turned it on in the NVidia Control Panel. Changing to 1080 had no effect on the appearance, I might have gained a few frames as my rig isn’t working so hard. I think yours looked so good is that in 1440p your game was downgrading visuals. They broke HDR a while ago, so for me turning HDR off gives me a far brighter game as I’ve set up all my Nvidia control panel colours to work with HDR. 2042 and HDR don’t play nice anymore. If HDR is greyed out, I think you’re not playing in HDR at all.

I don't think his monitor supports HDR and that's why it's greyed out.
