@ATFGunr HDR is on auto and grayed out. So I can't change that setting despite the resolution.

It’s greyed out? That’s not right. Mine was live after I plugged my monitor in and turned HDR on in Win 10. I also turned it on in the NVidia Control Panel. Changing to 1080 had no effect on the appearance, I might have gained a few frames as my rig isn’t working so hard. I think yours looked so good is that in 1440p your game was downgrading visuals. They broke HDR a while ago, so for me turning HDR off gives me a far brighter game as I’ve set up all my Nvidia control panel colours to work with HDR. 2042 and HDR don’t play nice anymore. If HDR is greyed out, I think you’re not playing in HDR at all.
