1942 Rendezvous
So other than a bunch of the guns having their sights mismatched, this is actually a pretty fun mode.
Anybody else tried it out and what are your thoughts?

- @Ironhead841 Nah, not bothering with a World War 1 or 2 game or mode ever again.
They need to do five things for portal and base game. 1. Bring WW2 russia in Portal and base, EA ruined the final season for bfv, would compensate for lost time. 2. Bring bf3 dlc weapons to base game. 3. Bring back squad deathmatch and remake or remaster bf3 maps. (Im pissed that bf mobile got grand bazaar and not yet on portal. 4. Have Classic game modes be permanent ie. Sd dm, frontlines, and capture the flag. Get the word out! thousands invested on this game Im expecting them to wake up and practice exceptionalism

It's part of this game and one of the new modes, I enjoyed playing it, all I was asking is if anyone else had tried it and what their thoughts were on it.
No point to jumping into this thread and hyperventilating over it, especially if you didn't even try it.
As to your suggestion I go play BF/BFV the same could be said for anyone wanting anything other than what BF2042 delivered right out of the box, so why even debate anything on this forum?
I mean regarding Clans/Platoons, classes, server browsers, persistent servers, squad management etc. etc. "Just go play XYZ game" because "XYZ game" has that and "Wouldn't you be better served" playing "XYZ game."
Just so you know I wasn't into the WW1 setting of BF1 and I refused to play BFV after Patrick Soderlund's asinine comments.
I've been having a blast for the most part. A few of the devs and heroes discussed certain 1942 era issues like ammo and spawns not necessarily jiving with some maps/modes the other day so hopefully the next iteration will be slightly better tuned.
I played Rendezvous mostly with bots to get my bearings and fill backgrounds/tags but it was just as good if not better with crossplay turned on - There is still a long ways to go, but Portal is a shining light in 2042 and with the right additions it could easily become the main "HUB" to invest in going forward.
I really do wish every single portal weapon/vehicle would have their own badge/T1 thoughYeah 'vee been having fun with it, it's a shame it's limited a time mode.

Could be said for anyone really but yes.
- @Ironhead841 I love the fact that you can get a game quickly (start with bots). Wish they would do the same for the other game versions.
Yup me too, hell even AOW would benefit from that, I think.
