2042 is a hero shooter nobody asked for in Battlefield and sadly EA thinks it's the future of the series. So if it's not a 'Battlefield' game now, it will be later
I have played just about every battlefield game since bf bad company what made battlefield great was its realistic combat. Once they tried to as people like you claim innovate which is another word for copy they tried to copy cod and its gameplay and it has gone horrible bf hardliners was a test to that and that game was trash. Nobody is using emotional factors the facts are bf is now a dying franchise it sucks and is horrible to see happen. They should have stuck to there core elements and gameplay not trying to copy other games. Halo tried that when they switched to 343 they tried to copy destiny and that halo tanked just like bf 2042 has even bf5 was not as good as previous bfs.
