2042 Preorder exclusives?
Am I wrong to think that people who spent $110 on pre-ordering ultimate edition should get something in game that sets them apart from everyone else including those that subscribe to Play Pro? I mean...

@AoH-XinXiuYes, and @Tromey66 is correct as well. Letting your subscription expire would also effectively stop your access to games you have not purchased directly.
EDIT: I think I get your point now. Many people in this day and age lose track of the things they are subscribed to and if you view it from a recouping cost perspective, it would only take roughly 8 months for EA DICE to cover MSRP.
Right but what is with giving them the same skins we are supposed to get for pre-ordering ultimate edition. You should get something to stand out. I'm saying it should be exclusive. Like only people who played in the rocket league beta got special toppers and wheels and stuff. There is no other way to get or earn it.

I wouldnt call spending $110 on a single game skimping.... You are renting games for $100 a year.

If EA doesn't release any more decent games, but I want to play BF 2042 through its lifetime, which may be 3-4 years, I have to carry on paying the subscription purely to play BF. Or , alternatively, I could cancel it, and buy the game again, so essentially paying twice for it. - @Kester-134 No.... I can math. If you want to pay $400 just to play Battlefield..... My argument is that I am worth more value as a Pro member so I should by your own reasoning get more to show that, something non pro members can not get. @R1ckyDaMan19 Simply put brother, you pre-order a specific game in its ultimate version - you should be getting a game specific ultimate exclusive that will distinguish you from players who did not buy/preorder that game. That is the issue. Having EA Pro or any sort of subscription to their services is like comparing apples and oranges. Yes, they're both delicious, but fundamentally different.
However, to support your point of worth, yes. a subscriber should get a subscriber specific exclusive. Thing is - when you cancel your sub - your exclusive should be taken away as you're no longer an active sub.

I personally do not think arbitrary “exclusives” do anything but make people frustrated, so I do not really support spending more money for some “exclusive” pixels… but again, you do you. - @rouvio As a pro player you are getting more rewards. You have a vast library of games you get to "rent" which I do not have access to unless I "buy" them. It's a marketing scheme it seems. I don't want to play FIFA, or Madden, Etc. So I spent $110 on a game that people "renting" are getting the same things. When you "buy" a special edition it should be special. Like I playtested ....... would be cool to have something to reflect that in game. It doesnt make me better than anyone. I just like things that reflect our commitment. I spent 19 hours in the playtest.
@AoH-XinXiuThere will probably be an in-game item distinguishing you as a Playtest participant. No one really knows. However, precedent will tell us it is very likely.
Again, everything “special” or “exclusive” about the EA Play Pro version of the game GOES AWAY if you let the subscription lapse. The only way to maintain access to the game is an active subscription or a stand-alone, licensed copy of the game.
- @rouvio I completely agree with your last paragraph, If I decide fifa looks bad and cancel my sub I should lose access to everything unless I renew or buy the games I want to play.
would be super cool. im 41 years old. i had never participated in something like that. like i said earlier. i put 19 hours in. even when it was laggy and almost unplayable. i stayed to help.

- @AoH-XinXiu 39 here, prob put similar hrs in too, the game showed a lot of potential, very excited too for release.
