2042 Preorder exclusives?
Am I wrong to think that people who spent $110 on pre-ordering ultimate edition should get something in game that sets them apart from everyone else including those that subscribe to Play Pro? I mean...
(no offense intended) So you want to be rewarded for being a naive consumer who gives money upfront for a product of uncertain quality but guaranteed quantity?
(Outside of crowdfunding initiatives) Pre-order exclusives (that are ingame goods) are marketing baits/bribes that should had been forbidden by law.
@UP_HawxxeyeNothing should be forbidden by law. No one is forcing you to buy anything. If you don't want the preorder exclusives, don't preorder. It's that simple. But don't try to stop other people who may decide that they want them, and are willing to voluntarily pay for them. No one should attempt to legislate their personal preferences onto others.
In case you did not read properly my previous post, I did not mean that people should not be allowed to pre order games, it is a buyers right to do with their money as they will.
I meant companies should not be allowed to chop out parts of the game as exclusive pre order bonuses with the purpose of bribing those who would not otherwise pre order
People should not have to chose between paying in advance for a game with an uncertain future and quality in order to get all the content of the game.

In reference to BFV, those like me who pre ordered, missed the chance to get the train wreck the game game turned out to be at half price after 1-2 weeks after the main release.
@UP_HawxxeyeOf course you are right. I do not think anyone here disagrees with that.
However, EA DICE clearly did not do that with BFV. I was pretty incredulous when I saw it on sale so quickly… and I knew what it meant.
So with that said, you should do what you think is best as it relates to BF2042. Many people, myself included, have pre-ordered the game and we understand the risks associated.
