I agree. After a few unsatisfying rounds of all-out warfare me and my buddy just joined a portal match on Noshahr Canals from BF3 and it was a completely different experience: Many different areas, lots of firefights happening inbetween capture points and generally a great flow of conquest gameplay.
I also feel the maps in 2042 are a tad too big with not as much cover as I would like. manifest is the closest map imo to a battlefield map. Worse maps in 2042 is Kaliedoscope and breakaway. I just back out when they come up. Not a fan at all.
I would love to see them add Zavod 311 with 128 players and keeps its original size. Zavod is one of my all time fave maps.

@ghinavirusBreakaway is a strange map, the action will always flow to the cluster of flags in sector A normally pushes coming from C and B, the rest of the flags are too spread out.

@R1ckyDaMan19I will stay in the A flags and occasionally peak the C flag in breakaway. I am not going out on ice with all the OP vehicles to run me over and be inside a bowl for snipers to take pot shots. No cover I wont move on that map.
B is way too many angles to get shot from. There is no scoreboard so there is no need to push anything in this game. Find a spot you like and control it.

@ghinavirusYeah that's where I tend to drone on that map, always one of the 3 A's getting capped prompting a big push.
We need a w/l stat to make it matter.
