3-D Spotting returning?
I'm personally not a fan of the 3-D spotting but it sounds like it may be making a comeback.

@TTZ_Dipsy Especially in a game like BF2042 where we have a ton of thick grass and bushes. It's a nightmare to fight on Manifest around B flags and Renewal D flags. People hide in grass and you cannot see them at all
@UP_LordPlumber That's the point of hiding, not to be seen. 2042 has the worst spotting system since you can be spotted in so many ways. You are basically shown on the mini the entire game (small exaggeration). Of all the BFs made, this is the hardest to hide in grass/bushes.
The ping system is nice because as stayed above by @Anarchiesx, you still need to use find people instead of just shooting the bright red target over someone's head.
