3-D Spotting returning?
I'm personally not a fan of the 3-D spotting but it sounds like it may be making a comeback.

@creepnpeep I’ve noticed the old ping system take two presses of Q now, rather than one. Sometimes it doesn’t spot at all, so I’ll mash the button and suddenly it will mark, then unmarked, then mark again. Too bad a good 50% of the time my squad can’t even see it. I know they can’t as we have comms and they tell me they can’t see it as they run in and get waxed by the player I’d marked. Swing and a miss IMO, which is par for 2042.
Spotting does not seem as precise as before. Also I can never tell if the vehicle that I am trying to spot is actually being spotted.
What happened to the green "Go here" marker? I can not do it anymore on PS5.

According to the notes the location marker was removed:
- Pressing the ping button once will no longer place a location ping, but instead check for targets such as soldiers, vehicles or objects near the point of that placed ping.
- @ElliotLH That is too bad. I thought it was a useful tool.
@Skill4Reel Same here. I could swear I placed one last night, but I've been fiddling this morning and can't do it again, so assume it wasn't meant to happen.
