3D Spot
Thoughts on 3D spotting? Do we really want another game with doritos over our heads? If this is the case, im out.

I dont want a return to bf4 style 3d spotting. Seeing as this is near future set, visibility shouldnt be an issue as each soldier (player) could easily be equipped with enhanced visibility aids that could track enemies and enhance their vision. That and any modern spotting and tracking tech (drones/sensors) should do away with so much passive hand holding
While I'm very pro-3D spot/doritos, I'd gladly give no spotting a go provided that visibility is massively improved.
It got better in BFV with the changes Dice made, but I do still struggle to see enemies a fair bit still.
+1 for bringing 3D spotting back.
I don't know how it will be done but visibility just needs to be better. I'm not talking about super camouflage that V seems to have but just a bit less rubbish stuff killing the ability to be able to see things. I'm talking about on snow maps when a bomb fills the air with snow, or just other explosions filling the air with debris, it might be realistic but when you have minutes at a time not being able to see anything is just a bit much.
Bring on the Doritos! The BF1 style of spotting was pretty good and I'd be happy to have that back. BF5 was absolutely terrible for spotting.

The ping system never took the place of this because it was only for your 3 squad members. Ping system would get too spammy with 31 players and worse with 63 teammates.
I think they could have improved the 3d spotting so one couldn't blindly spam it. Maybe they could have fixed the show thru smoke issue as well although I imagine that's not easy otherwise they would have fixed it already.
I'd personally like the ping system to return but red pings get shown for the whole team and like BF5, don't follow the enemy everywhere they go.
