Sad times that people get excited if they vaguely announce to bring a season with HALF the content we usually get. And your are honestly staring to find that amount of content remotely acceptable?
True, better than just one map -- but still, this leaves me baffled truly baffled I must confess.
Maybe I am wrong and we really get a normal content drop with 4 maps as basically EVERYONE would have expected per season before the game came out. Then it would still be nothing exceptional -- OK, maybe in BF2042 marketing speak it would -- but then I would get why they used the wording 'with a bang' in the announcement. Two maps does not yet count as a 'bang' in my book. But maybe we are still pleasantly surprised and they now really finally start to deliver. Wouldn't get my hopes up yet though.

And the fact that one of these maps is content that was removed from the game for several months. They're reworking half a map, and somehow the community thinks they're getting two. KEKL. It doesn't get any better than this. I guess Seasons 2 and 3 had three maps, this is still a downgrade.

We can choose to sit in a corner and pout because Battlefield is no longer getting the same content as in the days with paid DLCs.
Or we can accept that things have changed and then be happy when something exceeds our new, lower expectations.
I choose to be happy 🙂

And I can choose to accept it costs $3000 a month to rent a closet in North America and $2 a millilitre of gas but I don't.
