i am fairly disappointed in the BF franchise for making BF fans play what is probably the worse release in the franchise in order to get rewards when BF6 gets released. I have always been a big fan of the other games also very impressed with what I've seen of the BF6 beta. However, even though i own BF2042 , I will not spoil my impression of BF franchise by playing it again.

No one forcing you to play. Skins are not mendetory to play BF6. It's skins and free battle pass for those that like 2042 no matter how game is, it's letter of love for supporting 2042 trough rough times. It will show that you played 2042 and enjoyed that game. If you don't like it, you probably don't need it. There will be tons of different and better skins I am sure.
And yes many fans like 2042 and what it become, so stop representing whole community. I am not disappointed, I like what they did but community being toxic ruined even this, a free battle pass and portal.
