@Johnathan123YT I have never seen publisher react to forums and I was around before forums as a concept existed. They might say they do but they don't. Development is driven by statistics and excel tables from sales.
- 4 years ago@BrokenCompile Then i guess we'll watch this franchise die together then
- 4 years ago@Johnathan123YT I don't think it will die. It will find new players, that's all.
- 4 years ago@BrokenCompile Thats where your wrong, Battlefield is going to die, If its true about the next game and rumors true about the development process of this game, The battlefield i grew up with, and battlefield that i love, will die, This doesn't feel like battlefield and if the next "Battlefield" is a hero shooter, That wont either

Because BF2042 quickly shot to 100,000 players at launch and then quickly dropped to hovering around 25,000 players and it is still going down.
Player reviews on Steam and Metacritic are also at record lows for any game, much less a AAA game.
BF2042 is (or was) in the bottom 10 worst reviewed games from Steam's entire gaming catalog.
