Add a server browser
DICE, please add a server browser. I cannot find matches in my region(India). I am just stuck on the waiting for players screen and the match never starts or there are only 20-30 players in a match. ...

Please feel free to add your own thoughts, for or against getting rid of MM in AOW.
It is obvious I am not a fan but I am interested to see if there are are enough valid reasons for keeping MM as opposed to reverting to a proper Server Browser / Server System that we had in previous BF's.
@RayD_O1 I presume you mean 'Match-making'? If so then it is handled like other previous BF iterations regardless of whether you have a server browser.
You click 'join' and it finds you a server based on region and ping. It does not look at your stats until it has already assigned you a server. Once in the server, then it looks at your skill simply to see what team to put you on for balance purposes.
Yes the BF2042 seems to have a bug/feature which puts you in the same map over and over and over. Namely Kaleidoscope for me. Maybe this is because the game is trying to get me to play the maps evenly, and I drop out of Kaleidascope 90% of the time it puts me in there.
Why have they gone this way? I think it is a way to dynamically scale server requirement based on demand. This way you never have servers sat empty which would cost EA money for no net gain. It's all about the Benjamins sadly.

So the only real benefits are financial gain to EA and the downside is players are having to suffer the frustration of being dumped back to the lobby after every single round.
As I have said many times, never being able to stay on a server and play through the map rotation is my biggest gripe. Coupled with playing the same map over and over as you mentioned, together these two issues have basically ruined BF2042 for me and by the look of things many others judging by the forum posts on this subject.
I sincerely hope DICE reverse their decision and give us a proper Server Browser and persistent servers and allow us to choose how we play BF2042.
p.s. They were definitely forcing Kaleidoscope on me yesterday and I was not amused. 😃

Permanent servers have been on the chopping block since BC1.
They only brought it back for BF3 and have always made the previous quick match option more prominent when looking to join an online game to try and push more players to quick match / mm.
I've always wondered when they would do away with it and 2042 is the game they chose to cut out the server browser.
As I've previously advised the OP, the community feedback that EA listen to and fear the most is the reddit main sub which has 200,000 members, the most a battlefield game has ever had on reddit, and unfortunately they aren't too bothered about a missing server browser.
Their pitchforks are out for:
Removing specialists
Scoreboard (lol)
New Infantry chokepoint maps
This forum has far too little interaction to influence anything.

I hear what you are saying and obviously reddit has a lot more users, and as you say more clout.
As I said previously I personally do not want to participate on reddit, but if you or someone else are willing to put the case on Reddit for a server browser / server system on behalf of this forum then that would be a good help.
You may be right that we are wasting our time, but I know I will continue to post and request for changes here on the Official Forums in the hope that DICE will eventually take note.
For a MP only game that had a development cycle of 3 years, 2042 features are pathetic. Sorry there's no other way to say this.
Explain to me how it makes sense to REMOVE all features that made BF just that and think this is ok? Do you think its "brutal" to ask for CAN I SELECT THE MAP I WANT TO PLAY? What about server rotations? Bookmark fav server. I mean the list goes on. Im so at the end with my patience and this incompetent developer.

When we had a server browser i can set it to my region and ping and find a server very quickly in my area. Plus when i do get in a server always seems to play at least one map 5 or 6 times before i even see a new map. Need map rotation put in and stay on the same server and not be put back into the queue to find another server and wait minutes again to join if ever.
