Yeah good points.
And yes the mind boggles at so many decisions DICE have made, they certainly appear to have killed of communities big time.!! Is it any wonder so many players have moved on. There definitely needs to be some serious changes to BF2042 SOON. !!
@FlibberMeister Your 4 choices would definitely cover all bases :
1. Filthy casual Quick play Match making. (i'm alone and want to be put with others of a similar level)
2. Squad based match making (I only have 4 friends so happy to fight with them)
3. Multiple Sqaud based match making (I have more than 4 friends, and we want to choose how we're teamed up and which sides)
4. Dedicated Field of war (AKA Server browser). But you know framed in a different way. Platoons can pick a war zone they've signed up to to fight other organised Clans
Unfortunately I can't see DICE putting in the resources to give that level of choice.
To be perfectly honest I would settle for your Options 1 and 4, Quickmatch and Server Browser and that would still be infinitely superior to the current MM we have at the moment.
