@RayD_O1It should be the top item. Had 3 terrible rounds… lag, desync, rubberbanding. 4th round was smooth, went 23-4, it felt faster too. Far better game play. All I could think was I’d save that server as a favourite if I could, and go back to it as I had a great connection. Servers should not affect players to this extent, especially so randomly. It will need a ping limiter though, or it won’t help as even good servers can be dragged down by a few high ping players.
100% agreed, and as I have said many times a server browser and persistent servers has to be their No.1 priority.
The experience you describe is happening way too often lately and is rapidly sucking the life out of the game.
Nobody enjoys going round after round where shots don't count, it defeats the object of a FPS game when you can't shoot anyone.
As you rightly point out in previous battlefields, on finding that good server you would have simply added it to your favourites, not anymore under MM rule.
There are just so many reasons that MM is unworkable in a BF title. They all have been listed on this thread many times, yet here we are 9 months later still trying to work around a system that is not designed for a BF multiplayer game.
As you say it would definitely require a ping limiter but all of these things have worked successfully in previous BF's so there is no reason not to have them in BF2042.
DICE please listen, you really need to act fast if BF2042 is going to survive, I sincerely hope it does for the good of the BF franchise going forward.
