Add a server browser
DICE, please add a server browser. I cannot find matches in my region(India). I am just stuck on the waiting for players screen and the match never starts or there are only 20-30 players in a match. ...

@RayD_O1 I know dozens of people, some who bought the game and bailed after a few days and others who took a wait and see attitude. The number one reason they walked away or won’t buy is the lack of persistent servers. I’d be having a heck of a better time playing with more than 3 buddies (down to 2 now, as the third recently left the game too).

Can’t find a Full game because network just puts you with the first game it finds. Usually it’s just 10v10 out of 64
EA is a joke and laughable that they think their gunna get away with this.
Battlefield is EAs call of duty yet they treat it like a startup game/ Joke. Peace be with you EA and all your poor decisions

Sadly you are one of many who no longer plays BF2042 due to MM and the absence of a proper SB / PS.
While MM remains it will be nigh on impossible to maintain any sort of a healthy player base.
The complete lack of player choice / control of what and how we play BF2042 has turned players away from the BF franchise and imho only the reintroduction of the Server Browser and Persistent Servers can reverse this trend. - @RayD_O1
How long until the NDAs of the people who developed 2042, expire?
I want to know what happened I still find it very odd, that DICE / EA are consistently rectifying lots of defects with the game, however, one of the largest defects is the lack of a SB and Persistent Servers for AOW for all the reasons reiterated continually in this thread. To be at where we are at with the game now, finished re-working the maps, and still tweaking and rectifying other big game issues and rebalancing which are seriously improving it, (I do have respect for them for this) I still don't understand why they wont acknowledge us, and talk about if they are going to even re-consider re-introducing the SB and Persistent Servers or not.
It would be great if we could get an update as to if this status is even likely to change or not going forward.

Without a doubt the lack of a SB / PS is by far the biggest outstanding issue which needs to be addressed.
As you say they have made improvements which I welcome and now they need to replace MM so we can get the best out of BF2042.
Like you I think we would all love to hear an update on whether a SB / PS is being considered. It's been over a year since their last statement when they basically said it was not something they were considering at that time.
A lot has changed since then and we can only hope that DICE eventually will step up and give the community the SB / PS that it desperately needs and deserves.
Imho it is so important not only for BF2042 but for the future of the BF franchise. My question is: do DICE think it's important to add a PS and SB.....an answer will clarify and wil be most appreciated.

A very important answer that could make or break the whole BF franchise imho.
A YES would provide the building blocks to allow communities to get back playing together and enjoying playing BF the way it should be played. 👍
On the other hand a NO would mean MM would continue to dictate how, where and when we play and sadly signal the end of the BF we all know and loved. 😞
Fingers crossed DICE make the right decision. I find playing AOW in BF2042 totally frustrating.
I spend so much time in lobbies waiting to play and then end up being put in a server that goes over in a couple of seconds / minutes or into a server playing the same map as I just played previously.
Playing the Portal Official Experiences allows me to stay on the same server with the same squad and I can play through the complete map rotation.
AOW should allow us to play the same way and imho MM needs replacing asap.
There is way too much unnecessary frustration and time wasting in BF2042 that could be resolved by the addition of a proper SB / PS. There are also many players who have currently no access at all.
DICE please replace MM so all players can get the best out of BF2042.
