To be honest, I don't think that they are taking all our feedback onboard. I think they are taking some of it but still putting their own spin on things because "that's what we want". If you look at what's happening now, the guy who invented the Battle Royal mode has been in DICE HQ on twitter and signed his name on their wall. If he was in there, you can only assume that he has been brought in to comment on the the new BF BR experience, not Hazard Zone. The community doesn't want a BR but it will be pushed on us for a third time now after both Firestorm and Hazard Zone were complete flops.
All we want is an original game like BF3, BF4 and BF1 with a Server Browser, Persistent Servers, Clans, Squads, Classes, No Specialists or hero's, Decent balanced vehicle mechanics, Solid gun play and weapon proficiencies, great maps for vehicles for ground air and sea combat, great maps for infantry combat and to build on their community again, oh and lests not forget, CONTENT CONTENT CONTENT!.
If we look at what they are doing with all the new studios, they are creating a "Battlefield Universe". I don't know what that means but would assume it is going to be an expansion on Portal and all eras of BF and weapson's and maps being brought into it, probably the specialists from BF2042 as well.
Also the other big thing you will see is that the BF Community is asking to be involved constantly with the development of the next BF title, and asking for details. What's concerning is that we are not being told anything or consulted on the direction of it whatsoever. All we know is that there will be a single player campagain and a multiplayer side to it. Nothing else. Its well over a year and a half now since they have been working on it in earnest and we have not been able to have a say in it at all. All DICE and EA are doing is cherry picking from our feedback on BF2042 with what they think we want and what they want to do. Why are they not getting BF community involvement with the next BF title, so that they don't end up doing a whole load of abortive work so its more cost effective to resolve and fine tune the BF experience with our involvement? You would think that would be the right thing to do if you are going to build back up the BF Franchise to it's former glory days or am I missing something? But the whole BR thing as mentioned above is saying to me that they are going down that route again and its just going to kill BF. It's not the game we want.
