Add all BF3 and BF4 maps to 2042
We can play metro, Gulmon Railway and others while the 2042 maps get fixed. Just keeo the same mechanics for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, don't need to adjust vehicle spawns, or take away anythin...

In other words, put all these maps in portal.
The 2042 mechanics would break the game loops of well made maps just as easily as they break game loops in less good maps.
