That's how it used to be in Battlefield and how it should be i.m.o.; 1 skin per class, different skins per faction, so in total 8 different skins.
The skins travesty that started in BFV and was taken to the next level in BF2042, is inspired by Call of Duty and Fortnite, but it does not belong in Battlefield.
You should be able to tell friend from foe and which class they're using. The first part went completely overboard with the introduction of specialists who can operate on either side.
Unfortunately I know I might as well be talking to a wall, as I have no faith EA/Dice will drop this source of income (selling cosmetics), and also because it attracts the younger generation, but oh boy whould I be glad if they return to the classic format with BF6.
