- @kixz200Z I also do not understand why there are no stationary AA or thick cannons. This was such a nice feature in especially bf1942
I think it makes sense, too many people running around with anti-armor grenade, aa missiles, wingsuits and other air vehicles. Stationary AA wouldn't let you even fly for longer than 2 mins.
Fly anywhere and survive, but killing players in their spawn is where I will draw the line (not to mention stealing vehicles too)
Yeah a sea-wiz would be nice
that sometimes happens in battle.
I believe you can play a class with "aa nades" of some sort and equip aa rockets. Another class can disable vehicles with the drone.
I believe soflam can be unlocked from what I read.
I believe aa vehicles can be selected and used.
I think both helis and jets can be used to counter other air vehicles.

Correct, the spawns need something like in BF4 where there was an automated C-ram turret protecting the spawn zone of the aircraft.
Without that, it is possible for someone to camp the enemy aircraft spawn with a heli or a vertical flight jet and get the jump on every aircraft that spawns there.
The C-Ram is already in the game files as part of portal. It is easy programing.
I think you should go play another game, since you havnt played bf since it first released ages on ago. nearly every bf game has had stationary AA regardless of what was in the air and if you are a "skilled" pilot, you wouldnt have an issue avoiding them period.
I think its a great idea to have stationary AA on the map, away from the normal anti-air kits. Frankly, they dont do enough damage to take down choppers/planes and mobile AA isnt strong enough to take down Air. so they do need something else to combat the helis, and planes because its all people use to rack up points.
