AI Bots...

The problem I have with the whole AI bots is not that they want to do this for fear of empty servers. Though honestly if I run a server it's going to be 64man. Or players in certain places. My proble...

    Hello @threedog1421

    Players will be able to start Server alone only with full teams of AI Soldiers or with Friends in Squad and full teams of AI Soldiers.

    Progression will be enabled so players that are not really good in Fps games has chance to learn the game and still play with Friends. 🙂

@WindowsManTv_CZE New players are not going to use this to learn the game, all players are going to use this to rank up and unlock stuff as fast as possible.

    Progressing against bots sounds a lot like boosting.

      I am pretty sure nobody will force you to play with AI bots 🙂

      Many players expressed a wish to play offline with AI bots, so in my opininon there should be dedicated offline mode, like Instant Action in Star Wars Battlefront 2, but I think we will have to wait for more info on that. However developer has made tremendous progress in the development of advanced AI, which can be equally chalenging as real players.       @Forkbeard84 Might be a necessary evil if we get more BFV-type weapon assignments.

        @ElliotLH Absolutely this.  I so sincerely hope that the weapon assignments are removed entirely or at least revamped a bit.  Some of them quite difficult indeed... I remember watching professional streamers struggle with some of them early on... it was rough.

        The sad part is many of them were not reflective of your skill with the weapon, but rather your chance circumstance.  If the teams were unbalanced, it was next to impossible for some of them.

      BF rookies playing against AI for unlocks are still going to get destroyed vs human oppenents. Even with unlocks, playing against AI can only get players to a certain point in skill.

      Bots have been around for decades, I welcome the addition.
