Well, despite some of the other apparently "tender" folks in this thread I'll be turning it on for sure, let the "GGs" and "Nice Shots!" commence!

As well as the usual ignorant crap you find daily on the internet anyway and of course the inevitable "hackusations" let them all fly, I for one can take it 🙂

  Now if they would just make VOIP for squads into something that works reliably. It can really help coordinate squad play when it works and it is used right. That's not all there are other things on my wish list.

Yeah I agree, imho if they make it optional then I am not sure how anyone can have a problem with it.

It's there for everyone who wants it and there's an Off Switch for everyone that doesn't, simple. !

I have always been an advocate for more choice in BF2042.

  If they make it optional -- with the default being OFF -- there is literally ZERO reason not to have it included right at launch.
  
  Still, we will get it as the censored version that is pretty much unusable as long as they censor willy-nilly anything that might be rated 6+ in any language. There should be an option to turn the censorship off. I personally can handle any insults in a game chat thrown at me as well as hackusations. If someone likes to wish me cancer or calls my mother a * only shows the lack of manners and low IQ of the player typing those things. And if it's an enemy, the better -- the more they type the less they play and kill me and my team mates. 😉

  I am glad they listened and made it off by default. This way those who do not want to talk to the other team cannot complain
  The problem is that they really need to show the players that the All chat exists or they will not know about it and wont turn it on out of ignorance.
