Am I hallucinating, or did they already nerf PAIK?

@SmackChatHC It lights up the first guy, looks like the one on the top of the hill is outside the effective range.

If so, that's good, makes it a solid short range aid but not comically broken.

On the other hand, it could just be the good old "hill" bug showing it's face again and the ping just followed a horizontal line and not tagging the guy that was elevated too much.

@SmackChatHC Seems like a Rainbow Six type thingy. With each pulse, she can see the outline for a second.

And you saw correctly, now the distance to spot enemies is very short, this is why she couldn't spot the guys from distance only when she gets closer, she can spot the guy on right and not on the left.

I still think wall hacking is present, only distance is shortened, maybe.

I don't like it. Even now.

@TheFireOfTitan I'm not a fan either (especially not in the intro video), but I'm actually fine if what we saw there was an indicator of range and not just glitched on a hill.

As long as it's not on a fast cooldown, i think that has it's merits (lots of small rooms/LOS-issues everywhere) but it's not such an advantage that people can't hear you/see you, and while i don't like the wallhack factor either, i can live with that vs something with a 50m range.

@SmackChatHC Maybe I need to watch the trailer again but to me it looked like that was her "they're firing at me so they're highlighted" passive ability instead of the EMG-X scanner.

@ragnarok013 Looked to me like he went full red just before the impact blast (the wave washes over the target about a split second before it goes full red and then the detonation), but i guess it could be either.

@ragnarok013 Looking at the trailer, it seems like the left hand is going up as if pushing the button on the goggles, just before the ping starts.
