Ammo Crate "heals" now and proximity grenade blinks "red"

Playing this past week since this liquid whatever update. Throwing down ammo crates now prompts me "Squad Healing 30 points". Also, I notice when I throw my proxy grenades, they often blink red. Hard to tell which is friendly and which is enemy. I often end up shooting my own due to this....
