Anti-Air needs nerfing on 2042
I understand the need for a balance between helis and AA but the FXM missiles are too strong now. In the Beta test it was possible to dodge fxm missiles and avoid death, now it is impossible as they ...
I’ve started trolling helicopters.
Every time I see one, unless I’m fighting or in danger, I lock my missile on it. But I never fire 🙂
(I only fire if the target is max. 100 metres away, otherwise they’ll just use flares and I’ll have wasted a missile + revealed my location to surrounding enemies)
From what I've seen (as stated by others already) a pilot using terrain/obstacles can nullify a lot of guided munitions, much to my annoyance sometimes.
Takes skill, but i have no issue with that over the absolute murder-train that was just circle-strafing the ground with a little bird in beta.
@TTZ_Dipsy This is not due to vehicle balance, this is due to bad map design. Vehicle superiority is common on every modern setting battlefield. But every mode and map in previous titles you could have places and flags for infantry fights without being killed by vehicles. All you have in 2042 is wide open fields with almost none structures like buildings etc with flags inside so infantry could fight there
