@EA_Leeuw Any idea when Custom Conquest is going to get fixed?This new game mode is broken.You can’t get the mode to load.It crashes every time. No joke. Every time.Game freezes and requires shutting down the whole game and rebooting.

@EA_Leeuw Hi mate,Really appreciate you taking the time to investigate.From a player point of view, it is pretty game breaking - in the sense that I won’t be able to use this game mode.The appeal was having portal conquest servers but with the rules editor added.But they’ve given with one hand and taken with the other 🤦🏽♂️I have CQ small and a CQ large servers made on portal.I was really happy at the thought of having all maps and all customisation in one game mode - but that doesn’t seem to be the case.So now I have to just carry on with the servers I have, minus the rules editor ☹️Please feed this back to them because what they’ve given us is a very limited “custom” conquest game mode 😩

Sorry for typos 🤦🏽♂️Ideally, we need all maps and sizes available to use.And we need the full set of server customisation settings to be available, as they are on other servers we can make.Not sure why they didn’t just copy and paste the conquest portal game mode and then add the rules editor, which is what they implied they had done 🤷🏽♂️

@creepnpeep I tried custom cq and it was working, played a whole round. Just changed some vehicle limits but did not add anything to the logic editor.Maybe you got a failing logic or something like that?

@direct3r Hmm, I’ll have a look again.But I run the exact same settings on all my maps. I do this so they all play the same.I’ll have a look anyway.I tried again yesterday to get my custom CQ running and it just won’t 🤦🏽♂️

@creepnpeep I tried custom cq and it was working, played a whole round. Just changed some vehicle limits but did not add anything to the logic editor.
Maybe you got a failing logic or something like that?

@direct3r I have checked my logic settings.
I will test the game.
I’m 100% the logic is fine because I use the same ones for my other servers.

Something is still wrong with the portal builder though. When selecting maps, it doesn’t show them all.
It only shows you 6 maps to choose from.
So something is wrong at their end

It just gives you the base 2042 maps to choose from.
but sometimes it gives you all maps and sizes to choose from

i have a lots of maps selected that my sever still remembers.
but if I go to map selection screen, it now only shows 6 to choose from?

what the hell!?

This is a big issue and it needs sorting.

They added a new game mode that can’t be used.

@creepnpeep, what exactly is the issue that you're facing with creating a Custom Conquest experience via the Portal Web Builder?

Just tried to create one myself and was able to play without issues.

Ok,

Sometimes when you go to the map election screen, or shows all maps being available to use, in all map sizes.

Then sometimes when you go to map selection screen, it only shows 6 maps available to use.
See my precious attached image.

When I made a custom conquest server, it gave me all maps available.
I selected a large volume of those maps.
I then went to run the server and it crashes every time.
I think it’s because I have selected maps that aren’t part of the “6” that now only seem to be available to use.

So I think there is an issue with what maps they are allowing to use.

When I run the server using just the 6 it says are available, it works.

One other observation..
We cannot adjust the number of reinforcements of the teams - which effectively means we can’t adjust the ticket count.
We can do this on portal-made conquest servers, why not on the new custom conquest game mode?

It seems settings have been cut down on the new custom conquest servers
