Not really getting COD vibes myself. Then again I've not played a full COD game since MW2 and might just not be picking up on them.
@ElliotLH You stopped at a good one :P Would need to play beta but how is jump shooting still penalized or rewarded if the latter its CoD :P Do we know if the awful lay on your back is also back?

I think sliding will still be big in 2042, same as in V, but not too sure if going prone on our backs is making a return.The battlefield franchise has consistently driven towards the call of duty twitch shooter gameplay and that’s a shame but that’s what sells.
Shame they can’t emulate call of duty in regards to game polish instead.
- @emerson1975 Except for the noticeable exceptions of player counts, map size, vehicle gameplay, etc. If anything, COD has tried to become more like Battlefield...
I can agree about some issues, gunplay, player movement, and micro are all clearly more COD leaning, but I still feel there is great distinctiveness between the two games and I will keep pushing for that exclusivity.
