@WessmarcI personally don’t mind if CHAT (typing) is not coming back. On the other hand many situations don’t make sense without VOIP. Is the new generation robots? How on Earth are you enjoying a fast paste game AND type the same time. 🙂 Is ADD a big problem within youngsters? No patience to walk 15 seconds here and there… i know you have to walk more sometimes but still. Seems like youngsters want to be in an alley shooting down someone every 2-3 seconds.
Opinions aside, here's my point:
Why not give us the option? If you prefer to not deal with Global chat, ok turn it off. Like in Past BF games. The same goes for many features. Don't like the more less "nicer" scoreboard? dont look at it. I just would have never thought that we all one day have to request and debate over core functions that made BF what it is. With options, everyone wins. Just removing them and calling them now "legacy feat" is extremely lame. Like match making? Keep it. Give PC users a server browser. I mean is that so hard?
Anyways, getting off topic a but i def miss the Global chat. Voting for maps, map rotation, and yes, voice chat. I really dont understand what Dice was thinking....
