Anyone seen Tom Henderson's video Battlefield 2042 dev timeline?

After watching that, this will definitely be my last BF game that I play and most definitely be the last EA game I buy. Going down the route of hero shooters is not the way to go. Games should stand ...

I’m having fun playing BF2042.

Before release I was very much against the Specialist idea, but I gotta say it’s a non-issue for me now.

I’m much more interested in having various issues fixed (crashing, lag) as well as the obligatory balancing (vehicles too strong / maps way too open and without cover)

@VOLBANKER_PC for me the specialists are crap because you are able to make a super hero with the ability to heal himself, support himself with ammo and carry sniper rifle. Good bye teamplay when everyone is a standalone Rambo. When this is what you want it seems bf series is wrong for you

    @ErdolfErdogan Why do people throw the work teamwork around all the time? BF very seldom has any teamwork. What is your definition of teamwork?

      @CantGetRightclear roles. BF is a military Shooter and no fornite hero crap.
      Everyone should have a clear role and these roles should complement together to make or break a match. It seems like you're new to bf, otherwise you wouldn't have asked the question

        @ErdolfErdogan I have been playing since Bf2 so no I am not new to the series. I asked the question is because seldom there is any teamwork in any BF game. Hardly anyone throws out medic/ammo bags or revives. Most are worried about their K/D ratio or are snipers sitting far away not capping flags. You can be the only one on a flag and see 2 or 3 teammates just run past and not help take the flag.

      @CantGetRight He is correct. BF2 was heavily based on Teamwork and I played with a clan. When I didnt, I squaded up and we stuck togther, providing medic, engineer, and support functions. This game allows you to become several all at the same time.

        @Ahhnuld Sure if you are playing with a friend or clan I can understand there would be teamwork but when playing with randoms there is hardly any teamwork in any BF game.

    @ErdolfErdogan I agree, as well as the fact the characters are annoying as hell. Not to mention the missing functionality of joystick support and a bunch of others.

    lol.  are you trying to say snipers were team players before and never were hill humpers oblivious to what was going on in the match?
