Are wing suits and grapple hooks going to wreck the game
I personally don't like them and think they are going to be a really bad gimmick in the game

@Scotty-dre No because we had "grapple hooks" already in other Battlefield titles.
Grapple hooks (what I saw from leaks so far) seems to works similiar like the one from Apex Legends. It also does have a cooldown which seems okay.
The Wingsuit also doesn't seem overpowered, we already had in different Battlefield titles the parachute which somehow worked like a wingsuit with the different that you have now a better overview (in 3rd Person) for a short amount of time while gliding.
Just wait for the Beta, play the beta and see if it is to OP or not. But for now, no.

Going by what's been made available so far, there's a good few heavy bottleneck maps (including one we know is coming back with portal) that's going to be *very* interesting with the grapple, probably more fun than it was.
Only "downside" i can think of is you're probably going to die a bit more to prone people on awnings/ledges or other normally unreachable cheap camping positions you don't expect early on, then people will adapt i suspect.
Once people figured out you could get on the roof of metro trains comes to mind, first few times you went "what?" then you started sweeping the roofline like any other normal contact point.
As long as the range is relatively sane (which it looks to be), i think it'll just be an interesting addition.
