Only if they provide full xp, full progression, ribbons, missions, all skins, player cards, etc for PvE bot matches. Otherwise, no, I won't.
Only if No Cross Play
need squad management
but after ive played every battlefield title and putting in over 1900 hours on this garbage, and placing no 1 in the world on xbox series x on game time. its probably a NO for me.
just like battlefield replaced the old novalogic games like landwarrior and delta force 2, black hawk down its time for it to die its course and let better developers make what people want not what they feel we need.
- NazT553 years agoSeasoned Ace@85EagleScout I was so excited when Novalogic announced Angle Falls only to be let down it never came out.
- 3 years ago@NazT55 there are not to many of up Pre battlefield guys out there still playing. most the youngsters have zero experience on those titles or even know they exist. they think they are game veterans but are clueless. heck battlefield even have a map creator back in 1999 2000 and if dice could produce this think of the community maps that could be made for great fun....
- BigShottt3 years agoSeasoned Ace@85EagleScout Hehe, Delta Force Land Warrior...haven't thought about those old games in many years... had my share of fun out of those. Lets also not forget Vietcong!

I recommend going the EA Play Pro route. Subscribe for a month, and try the game out. If you like it, buy it and cancel Play Pro. If you don't, cancel it.

Well then you’re still giving EA and DICE money.

Look at the first 30 seconds of this video:
This is a multiplayer game, each and every soldier is controlled by a person from somewhere. Rocket explosion, jet flying by, helicopters. I love the huge maps. After this i am not going to buy a game if it has small maps, no vehicles, no weather, levolution etc. and you are just running between walls. BF 2042 got a lot of things right too. I am playing on PS4 and it is virtually bug free for a year now. To answer the original question: yes probably gonna buy the next one. Even if a BF game is not the best in the franchise it is still better than other games.
- DaveTheBrave_USA3 years agoSeasoned Ace@85EagleScout I'm with you brother! No cross play and squad management with ability to kick deadwood!

No server browser.
No squad management.
No mouse and keyboard support on consoles but crossplay against PC.
If all those things were fixed i would buy the next BF, but not gonna happen.

Not if Dice Sweden is attached to it.
Not if it's just more of the same. The franchise needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. It won't be enough to just take the best bits of previous games and trying to mash them together, hoping they will work with each other. The whole things need to be planned, designed and developed from scratch.
