@IIIWhiteWolfIIIIt can be hard to see an advantage as it's situational, but it can make a massive difference. Subsonic + heavy suppressor almost removes muzzle flash and completely removes tracers, which are 2 things that greatly give you away. Basically a moving line pointing to where you are, and a flashing light at your location. They say tigers (or was it bears?) see movement, but I think all animals are simply more perceptive to changes in color, including humans.
Removing those can be a game changer in the right circumstances. If you flank a large group of people, lack of tracers is the difference between the group shooting at you after ~2 kills, and you never getting shot at. Even smaller groups of people, let's say 2, I've had situations where with regular ammo shooting at a person who saw me, the 2nd would join in, but with subsonic+suppressed, the 2nd would have no idea what's happening and I'd get to fight them 1 by 1.
If you're in a nonstandard location, you're not very exposed, and you're not moving, when shooting at someone with subsonic+suppressed they might not see you right away.
If you're not playing to those strengths however and are going down some corridor or chokepoint, it will be only worse due to its simply lower damage.
I'd also advise you consider subsonic on sniper rifles very carefully. Playing with a scope that doesn't glint and with subsonic can make you extremely hard to spot, but I believe the XCE with a heavy suppressor and subsonic reaches damage falloff so harsh you will no longer be able to 1 shot headshot a full HP player beyond something like 200m.
